I live in De Cuserstraat, Buitenveldert and on Sunday evening (15th) around 6:00pm went into my back garden to let the dogs out and have a cigarette.
It was a clear sky with many visible stars. As I was looking up I saw two bright orange lights that if they were stationery would have looked like starts.
The problem is though that they were moving in an easterly/north easterly direction. As they moved at the same speed they were allways the same distance apart therefore givinig the impression that they were both fixed to the same object. I immediately called my wife to see it and she saw it too.
She also immediately thought that the two lights were attached to the same thing. The object moved very slowly in the sky above us – far too slowly for an aeroplane. We are used to seeing planes all the time as we are in one of the flight paths to Schiphol and this was no plane!
Unfortunately I cannot read your article as it is in Dutch and my Dutch is not that good yet but maybe you would be so kind as to let me know if anyone else saw this – I can’t believe that no one else did it was there for nearly a minute…
btw. This is not the first time I have seen something like this in my area although last time there was only one orange light.
Look forward to hearing from you.
